We think we'd be ideal for someone finishing University, a professional new to the city looking to get established, or someone going through a life transition and needs more than a roof, but a home, and the support of a caring family in a quiet community. We'd be more than landlords, you'd have personal coaches and mentors in us. We also would do an agreement month to month, we want to make sure you feel like you're in the right place and if you're ready to move on, all we ask is a month's notice.You'd get your own comfortable, quiet, furnished room (approx. 10x12) with new memory foam full sized bed, closet and extra built in storage, a desk and a beautiful view. We have two rooms available, rent is the same for each, in a large, 6-bedroom family estate home on 4 rolling acres, just west of the city, easy access to ring road, it's 20 minutes to UofC, MRU or SAIT, 25 minutes to downtown. You'll have access to our heated indoor pool and our 10-person hot tub, pool table and our home gym.No pets please. We have one semi-outdoor cat, who is wonderful with people, but doesn't play well with other animals sadly.There is a beautiful 7 acre park across the street with a tennis court, running track and horse riding arena. Our next door neighbors have horses you'll see regularly. You'll want your own vehicle, but parking is included, laundry is included, all utilities included. Looking for serious students finishing degrees or professionals who work outside the home. One person only please per room, no guests, no parties as we have young children, a police check is required, and would appreciate references. We would also welcome you to our dinner table for an extra cost to include food, but if you prefer to manage your own food, we'd get you a fridge to keep in your room and you'd have full access to the kitchen.A little about us, we're a married couple in our early 40's with two young children, and grandma lives with us too. We're happy, loving and quiet people, we don't drink or smoke or even use foul language. Wife works in architecture, accessibility and information management, husband is an engineer and project/construction manager. We're looking to provide a safe quiet place for someone aiming to improve their lives through education and/or work, just like we are.
